Things We Learned October 5 - 9

For our Media Literacy strand in Language. the children were asked to make posters to promote their favourite Peter Reynolds book. They used words that we listed to promote their books. See list below:

The primary colour song poem we learned for our art project which is to use construction paper (red, yellow, blue) for our picture of a super creature or hero. 

For science, we talked about cycle. The children were asked to think about their own cycle (things that they did before and after school) and drew their own pictures in a worksheet.

We continue reading about books in fairy tales, the letter 'Dd' and practice printing.
