Red Yellow Blue (Primary Colours) Art

The children were taught about the three primary colours: red, yellow and blue. We talked about how they are considered to be the strongest colours since they can make other colours when mixed. They produce orange, green and violet.

We learned the song, Primary Colours Song, to the tune of Three Blind Mice (even Charles was singing the song to me many times):

Red,Yellow, Blue
Red,Yellow, Blue I see you
Red,Yellow, Blue You are the primary colours

You make all the other colours I wish I was a colour
like red, yellow, blue

After that, we made art out of the three colours. Since they are super colours, the children were asked to make a powerful super hero or creature. Here are their art work who were able to finish their work:
