Snowglobe Art

The holidays are almost here and what better way than get into the spirit of it by making holiday art. Snow globes are a favourite part of the holidays especially with a snowman and snow falling on it. Here are the works of our little ones! Enjoy!

Elf on the shelf

Found under the Christmas tree was a package from Santa Claus!

It had a message from Santa Claus. We found the package and opened it.

Inside was an Elf From The Shelf! But there was no elf! The elf left a letter for us.

The elf said he will only show up if we gave him a name. We were given a day to vote for a name.

We had to vote for a name.

We voted and tallied the result.

And his name is Fred!

It seems that someone saw the elf in the cupboards! But when we came back after our song practice, he was gone. So, the kids decided to file a missing report to the North Pole police!

Here are the scout elf detectives filing their missing reports.

And Santa Claus also asked all scout elf detectives to report to Santa Claus if Fred was safe and sound in travelling back and forth to the North Pole.

An example of a daily elf report by one of the scout elf detectives...

I tweeted the reports to Santa Claus via #elfontheshelf.

The kids are having fun doing Elf on the Shelf during this holiday season! Enjoy!

Fall Tree Art

We read books about the changing of the leaves during fall. And with this in mind, we made beautiful art about the fall trees. Each of this fall tree art is unique and special. Enjoy!
